Thealit offers art residencies for female artists or groups in the ‚Arbeitszimmer'.

In between, there is space too for short intermissions of 1-3 days, e.g. for lectures, workshops, performances

Things, passed on
A special “extra,” a calculated, unpredictable element, is also involved: each residency project will leave something behind for the next project, in the thealit Arbeitsraum, the site of the residencies and intermissions. The ensuing residency will react to whatever has been left behind: include it, change it, use it as a starting point for something else, ignore it, disguise it etc.

These objects, which are further used in each case, are collected and archived by thealit. The archive of these material or immaterial objects will be exhibited and documented online at the end of the program.
