Art Residencies + Intermissions

Thealit offers 5 four-week residencies for female artists or groups in the ‚Arbeitszimmer'.

In between, there is space for two-day projects and presentations, the Intermissions.

Things, passed on
Each project will leave something for the one that follows on the spot in thealit's Arbeitszimmer, these are the 'things, passed on'. To this object (an impulse in any form) the following project is invited to react: to involve it include it, change it, take it as a a starting point, leave it it, disguise it, hide it, or other ...
From the second residency on, these objects will be collected and archived by thealit, so that for the next project something new can be left behind and passed on. The archive of these material or immaterial objects and the intervening handling of them will be documented online.
