Make sure to be on time for the introduction, we'll close the doors around 14:15 H

We will give a presentation of the background of the Hologram, explain how it works and then we will practice the protocol together in groups of 4. Each group will have its own facilitator, no previous knowledge is required. The presentation will be in English, two smaller groups can be facilitated in English and one in German. .

What is the Hologram?

The Hologram is a peer to peer health protocol (or in simpler words: a caretaking tool) designed by a group of artists and activists, inspired by the Social Solidarity Clinics in Greece.
A working group named "The Group for a different medicine" created an integrative care model that inspired the Hologram how it is practiced today. Originally conceived as an artwork, this peer to peer care practice is now co-produced and used by thousands of people around the world, in various places from the USA to Taiwan, with an extensive and active offline community in Berlin.

In the protocol, three people meet with one person (the hologram) regularly over time, to focus on their physical, social and emotional health by asking questions and taking notes. The person who articulates their needs and asks for support is our teacher and the expert of their own experience. By practicing the Hologram, we remember what it means to be a cooperative species, collectively create health and stability, and fight the oppressive systems we live within.

Curious about new cooperative care techniques?

Facilitators Lark Lyra Lou Hill, florence freitag & Vicc Repasi, aka The Hologram help make participants' knowledge tangible and usable. In this way, they support a group in finding a solution on its own. In doing so, they always assume that the answers already exist within the group.)
