Born in 1974, lives and works in Cologne. Studied in the State Academy for Art and Design in Karlsruhe. In his artistic work he moves between different media und pursues complex levels of precision and suspense, representation and abstraction, trust and alienation, richness and emptiness, de-contextualization, transformation and combination. In 2009 was awarded with the Graphic preis NRW. He has moreover participated in numerous individual and group exhibitions as well as curated projects, the most recently; Selection and Conception – SHIFT – group exhibition – ZERO FOLD Cologne 2012.
